From us to you: Giving Thanks (also Voting)!
Carrie Masek
It’s already November, a month of resetting clocks, raking leaves and remembering all the reasons we have to be thankful. We’re always grateful for good coffee and the folks who enjoy it. To thank our customers, we have some especially lovely coffees to share this Thanksgiving and also for the beginning of Christmas and other Holiday Gift season. Also it’s midterms so time to be grateful for democracy!
Our November Coffee of the Month is Harvest Roast. Smooth enough to drink black and with enough flavor to stand up to cream and sugar, Harvest Roast is great to sip all day. Just be sure to save some for dessert. It's great with pumpkin pie! Available all month in full and 1/2 roast bags.
Our Exploration Coffee for November is Vote Coffee! In celebration of democracy we have our longstanding Vote Coffee available in 1/2 roast pouches this month. This is an all American blend, smooth and silky, with a floral aroma and lively fruit notes that melt into chocolate richness. Roast Level: Full City
November is also the start of holiday shopping season. We have some amazing gift boxes coming up this year for those coffee-lovers who want to try the world’s most amazing coffees, including Gesha’s, Kona, and Jamaica Blue Mountain. We’re excited! Whether you need stocking stuffers, a custom gift, or a present that keeps giving all year long, Great Coffee makes the holiday taste just right. We offer full and 1/2 roast coffee gifts and will even handle the mailing!
Or give the gift that keeps on giving. Check out our Coffee Club Subscriptions. We now have three different Coffee Clubs: Coffee of the Month Club, Coffee Contrast Pair Club (the one most similar to our old Coffee Club), and Half Roast Sampler Club. You choose the club and the length of the subscription: 3 months, 6 months or 12 months. Orders continue for the length of the subscription, delivering fresh coffee monthly without the hassle of reordering. Set up a customer account, and you can monitor and/or modify your Coffee Subscription anytime you want.
Also as a reminder- anytime you order coffee during the holiday season please make sure to take enough time for it to arrive in the mail. The USPS is unmatched in reliability, but the mail slows down this time of year. If you'd like fresh coffee for Thanksgiving dinner, we recommend ordering no later than Tuesday, November 17.
Everything is getting more expensive, and since we can't control the cost of green coffee, we're now offering a less expensive option for shipping. You can choose between USPS Ground Advantage (with a flat $8.50 shipping and handling fee) or USPS Priority Mail (still a flat $11.50 fee). The USPS says Ground Advantage takes 2-4 days to most addresses and Priority Mail takes 2-3 days. This is for the addresses in the continental US. We DO NOT recommend the Ground Advantage option for shipments to Alaska or Hawaii because they can take 2-3 weeks.
Finally, we are adding an additional way for our customers to get FREE coffee this month. To thank our customers for participating in democracy, customers can claim a FREE 1/2 bag of Vote Coffee if they write Vote! in the box for additional instructions. Customers ordering two roasts (or more) of coffee (and who write November in the box for Additional Instructions) can still get the FREE 1/2 roast of Harvest Roast. That's possibly 2 FREE 1/2 roasts this month for our customers who want to support voting with us.
Sharing coffee is our favorite way to say, “Thanks!”
What are you thankful for? Please join the conversation and share your thoughts on the Facebook thread or in a comment on this blog. Or, if you'd like to share your opinions with the wider world, leave us a coffee review on Google or on your favorite review site. Not only do we value your opinions, but reviews help more people find us. Help us connect coffee lovers to fresh, quality coffee!
